About Us

Our
Story
Yellow Minds was founded by Maria Gabriela Bello, her husband Gabriel Di Sante, and a close family friend and industry expert, Maria Alejandra Gonzalez.
We are a local Ontario-based family with firsthand experience supporting a brother with developmental disabilities. This initiative was created to provide him, and others like him, with the structured support he needs to thrive.
Because we’ve walked this path ourselves, we understand:
-
The emotional challenges families face
-
The importance of informed decision-making
-
And the value of understanding provincial supports, funding, and resources
We don’t just offer programs, we offer lived understanding, trust, and partnership.
Our Purpose
To deliver inclusive, accessible, and culturally responsive programs that empower neurodivergent adults to:
-
Build essential life skills
-
Gain employment readiness
-
Discover their passions
-
Develop meaningful relationships
All while strengthening families through education, guidance, and long-term support.

Our Aspiration
A world where adults with developmental disabilities are empowered to thrive with dignity, creativity, and meaningful community connection.
Yellow Minds aims to be a trusted place families can rely on, locally and beyond Canada, expanding access to support and, in the future, offering free services to those who need them most.
We are committed to:
-
Empowering families with knowledge
-
Educating workplaces on true inclusion
-
And helping every individual who comes to us find their path and place in society
